Act 3 Scene 2

This scene reveals how anxious and guilty Macbeth is feeling. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are having nightmares which can prove that are unsettled about the deed they did, although Macbeth is not dealing with the paranoia as well as Lady Macbeth is. “O, full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife”. The quote shows the readers how Macbeth is feeling; the paranoia and guilt is eating away at him. To relieve themselves of that feeling they want to kill both Banquo and his son Fleance. Macbeth hired murderers to do the deed. They think that by doing this no one will ever know the truth and therefore ridding themselves of the paranoia.
