Act 3 Scene 3

During this scene the three murders that Macbeth had hired killed Banquo although Fleance escaped. Banquo was considered to be Macbeth’s best friend so the fact that he had him murdered lets the audience know what is going on inside Macbeth’s head. Because Fleance escaped he now knows that someone wanted to have Banquo and himself killed.
